This Mauser sporting rifle by Emil Kerner & Sohn was used by Christian Bale in the opening scenes of Public Enemies as he gunned down Channing Tatum, playing Pretty Boy Floyd. In reality, Floyd was killed months after Dillinger's own death and not in any way that resembled his death in the film.
